MEDIA HOMEWORK

ALL GRADES: Hello Searles Students! This week we will be writing our own poems! Poems are a collection of words that have a special meaning to the writer. Oftentimes, poems will rhyme but rhyming is not required. Please look over the examples and write your own poem. You will begin a NEW Google doc for the month of May, April's work should be emailed to me already. Look at the examples below and think of how YOU want to express yourself. Your poem can be funny, silly, serious, sad, happy, strange, mad, scary, short or long. Do not just write random words though, your poem has to have a focus. Pick a topic and stick to it! You will be graded on creativity and effort. Have fun!!
